    While benefits are unique to each individual, many participants have experienced some or all of the following benefits from a consistent Yoga practice (specifically Somatic Yoga and Restorative Yoga).     Mindful Art Journey Founder & Instructor Bio

    Cynthia Hauk, MFA, RYT is the founder of Mindful Art Journey, LLC. Cynthia is passionate about offering safe space and creative self-care practices for women to reclaim their bodies and voice. She offers trauma-informed expressive arts and mindfulness tools to enhance self-awareness, self-compassion, and self-expression. Cynthia received a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Interdisciplinary Arts from Lesley University College of Art and Design, and has a combined 10 years of art and yoga teaching experience. She is a certified SomaSoul®: Somatic Expressive Therapy Facilitator, a SoulCollage® Facilitator (an expressive art collage process founded by art therapist, Seena Frost), a Reiki Master Teacher, and holds a variety of Teaching Certifications (highlights include Art and Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Somatic Yoga, and Trauma-sensitive Yoga). Cynthia offers workshops and retreats in Colorado Springs and the Front Range region, and collaborates on retreats, festivals, and teacher trainings worldwide.
